Feelings of weakness, loosened restraint
Emotional detachment, disconnect, feeling faint
Trying to focus, but feeling alone
Deafening silence atop of my throne
Focus and goals, to do the right thing
Hell in a handbasket….the pluck of the strings
Feel alone tag along
Not for long, don’t feel strong
Can you help, me decide?
The path to choose, the choice of pride
Or arrogance, the final ride
Into the sunset, turn the page
A failure in love, path of rage
Pressure mounting, count the toll
Lines on the face, scars are the goal
Obsessed with perfection, lines start to blur
Temptation come hither…intensity stirs
