You were beautiful in every single way,
from the tears, like diamonds, running down your face,
the tranquility surrounding you, consuming me,
every word spoken so softly, as if honey were flowing off the tip of your tongue,
so sweet and sincere,
so dark and lonely,
so beautiful.
Though everything you touched seemed to turn to ashes,
in your hands,
all you loved would fall to pieces,
i wanted you to hold me still,
i would catch every diamond,
falling down your dispassionate face,
taste the sweet honey,
that would once console me with your words,
even if i should turn to ashes,
in your arms.
