Have A Great Birthday Without Me

Hope you're having
A happy birthday
With me out of your life
And out of the way

I wish you and I
Were arm in arm
On your cold birthday
Keeping eachother warm

Over four years have passed
Since I've been with you
And every minute of that time
You are all my heart knew

My feelings for you
Have stayed, so strong
It's hard to believe
After so so long

My heart and soul
Still stay with you
And I always wish
I could feel yours too

It's hard to believe
That in such a young day
Anyone could ever
Feel that way

But somehow you made
Me crazy about you
And somehow I still
Feel the way that I do

This doesn't mean
I'm trying to get you back
Because the will power for that
Is something I lack

Whenever I see you
I just want to stare
Because you aren't around
And you'll never be there

I wish we were friends
For just one more day
Memories of us friends
Is the way we would stay

I look at the pictures
Of us way back when
But it's hard to think
About us then

i wish you would call me
Just one more time
And feel good about when
You really were mine

I hope you won't
Talk bad about me
Like, "Look how corny she is!"
And, "Look at what she wrote me!"

Because we've both matured
And grown up some now
We can act like grown ups
I know you know how

Instead of us hating being
Around eachother even more
We could talk things over
Maybe be friends like before

I hate being so open
But it's the way I have to be
You've always known that
You know it's just me

You know that this is personal
Everything that I write
Please have the respect and courtesy
To keep it to yourself, out of sight

The truth is no matter
What happens after today
I don't think I'll ever
Stop feeling this way

So please just call me
At this the start of your new year
Let's set this all straight
It's nothing to fear

All you've left to lose
Is what's in our past
Even the great times
Didn't seem to last

And now there's nothing
Left to say
But have fun without me
On this, your birthday

Great job, I like this one.
