Exactly Like You

You hold out your hand to me then you pull it away.
You say you will never leave me, but you never stay.
You say that you won’t hurt me, but then you slap my face.
You say you will never forget me, but our memories you replace.
You say something that I need to hear, but you talk behind my back.
You say that I have nothing to worry about, but I have a panic attack.
You say that if I need you, just to ring, but you never take my call.
You say it’s all up from here but we both know I’m on a downfall.
You say that everything will be okay but everything turned out wrong.
You say this will be short but it takes forever long.
You say to me that I have had fun, but you know I hated it.
You sent me down a straight road but it lead straight to a pit.
That is when I said goodbye to you and turned my head.
I have heard enough of what you have said.
I turned to someone else to get me through,
But they turned out to be exactly like you.

Another excellent poem that I can relate to. As I have said in other poems, you need to find someone who will treat you write because you deserve it.

| THING IS ONE REASON WHY I DON'T HAVE THAT MANY FRIENDS ANYMORE CAUSE I SEEN THERE GAMES AND I DON'T HAVE TIME. I NEED A FRIEND THAT WILL STAND BY ME AND TREAT ME THE WAY I DO. NOT TALK ABOUT ME OR BEHIDE MY BACK TO MY FACE I WOULD LOVE. |
