Scream my children, demons of night.
For when you're asleep, the bed bugs will bite.
Close your eyes, and rest in fear. Thinking, knowing, that I will be near.
I'll ward off every dream of good. Your nightmares shall win, like they should.
My hate of life, I take out on you. So when it's dark, my loathing comes through.
You know you can't stop me. I made you to die. Pain is my friend, concealed in each lie.
So go to sleep, and rest your head. Knowing tomorrow you'll wake up dead.

This is excellent Kat,
I really like the way this subtly frightens the life out of the reader!
Well done, great write.
With love
