Burden

Contributed by PsychoticDreamz on Sunday, 21st September 2003 @ 01:35:00 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Too many years among friends I thought were true
Behind my back, their talk of me, They thought I never knew
Telling me how to live my life, instead of living their own
They wouldnt survive as me, They've never left their happy zone

Silencing I opinions, Saying Im ignorant to my face
Always say Im wrong on things just because I think a slower pace
I cant believe I've called them friends everyday they make it worse
Always I think it'd be much easier to riding in a hearse

Although things aren't as bad as some, Its difficult none the less
I thought I had many great friends, only to find they're not the best
I waste our time being by their sides, instead, when I should go
I live my life a burden to mostly everyone I know
