I Went Outside Today

Contributed by Kalika on Saturday, 20th September 2003 @ 02:25:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I went outside today,
Guess what I saw??
You and my boyfriend,
Standing close,
Holding hands.

What ever happened to friendship??
What happened to you'll always be by my side??
Havent seen you in several months,
Till now.

You said it was too hard on you,
Watching me die.
Maybe it's just self pity,
Somehow I think it was harder on me....

I was always there,
Always dropped everything,
Nothing more important than you.

I saved your life once,
Some guy dumped you,
I'm the one who stopped your blood,
The one who breathed life back into you.

You have an interesting way,
Of repaying the trust I gave.
I went outside today,
I know what you didn't see....

He didnt see me standing there,
As he hugged you tightly.
You didn't see me crying,
As you kissed him good-bye.

I hope she gets to read this and realize what a horrible friend she is to do such a heinous act!
May you move on and find peace, with a true love, not an artificial one.
Good luck to you!
Angel always...godspeed...joni
