Fate leaving me

Was i sure on that day that something was there, i felt my soul connect to you, as my eyes fixed a stare.
I left to let myself know why i could have had you in my eyes,but who too know you wasn't present in anothers arms for that i didn't know, if i was to have talked to you, i wouldn't have let you go,I could have tried a little more, you could be the one to open fates door.
Who wasn't to know that it was fate, that i'd predicted i'd see you again,who knows if you were my soul mate,we'll never know, our hearts might have been the same.
