You are the day, I am the night,
co-existence seems a futile plight.
My thoughts follow you
like the night follows the day.
Rain, wind, sleet and snow
strum the strings of loneliness.
I am your dove who waits in peace.
I am the glimmer behind the night clouds.
From deserts to oceans, elements divide us.
Two breaks in my family's line
have severed the unity you brought to me.
Resounding through my mind,
the infamous Blues.
I miss you.
Weeping as the willows do,
I am the one that waits for you.
I am in the company of a million stars.
Yet my heart still seeks your vibrant radiance.
