Love sent across the sea
She was playing a game of lives
I was seeking something real
She danced with this fool
A lass of my homeland thought to love
I thought also of such feelings
Maybe too soon maybe to late
She danced with the fool
I have danced the dance of a fool
Sharing a damaged heart with lovely lasses
Sharing pain of love as a drunk drowns in cheap wine
Bathing in a bleeding heart never to experience a dream
Once when strong met this lass
Eye of heaven she was
Communal partner I was to learn
She danced with a fool taking his seed
With songs of heart another came
Another to be a partner in the dance
What did she take in this ballet
She danced her turn with the fool
To be a fool on the floor
So many to dance none to hold
What a game is played with the fool
Just dance and walk away
So come dance with the fool
Then when you’re done walk away
Maybe if he is lucky he will walk first
Either way his heart will hurt from pains of loneliness

I like the poem, I too danced the dance. Why do people think love is a game? Ah well..i think i'll be a wall flower for the rest of my life, less painful .
