Don’t take my words and lay them
Upon your throne
I like them left alone
Sorrow in the darkness
Sleep upon a floor
A soft rapping on the door
Walk the tender willow
Feel the branch un wind
Slip the pillow in time
Writers of the glory
Slivers in the night
Storms of fury
Which of you fight
I knew the signer
He was the man
I felt the last kiss
Sunlight upon
a barren land
you are the bitter rain
a sad excuse pain
no tragic look
get out of the way
you outlived your stay
swallow your pride
don’t turn tail
some only run
in the wind
