How to Meet a Girl (For Men Only)

Contributed by norm on Thursday, 18th September 2003 @ 08:45:00 AM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

As I was walking down the street
There was a girl I chanced to meet,
With flashing eyes and golden frock
And...by chance our eyes did lock.

You ever meet and know at once,
This girl would be the end of hunts?,
Of nights in bars accosting gals
You can't take one without their pals.

Thru my head ran paradise,
I finally met a girl that's nice,
I smiled at this charming miss
I knew right then I'd love to kiss.

It wasn't long before we wed,
Had six kids with love that said,
Up until the present day,
I'm mad about this girl, I say.

The street I walked was Elm and Clay,
You too, can find a girl this way,
Introductions they say are best
I argue not, you take the test.

It's not the road you walk
No no, nothing to do
It's only the girl you stalk
And I'll prove it to you.

I'll walk this street until I find
A girl whom with my life will bind
You'll see me walking this avenue
For about more than a century or two.

Although it said for men only

LOL norm you are so funny - of course you knew if you put "for men only" every woman on this site would read it.

a very sweet poem that says love is accessible to all who care to open their eyes and look for it.

Nice Write. Honestly YOU HAVE MOTIVATED ME BY WRITING THIS. AND IM SURE I will Take the test. In fact, with this girl, our eyes have locked several times, and she turns around filled with shame, I will give it a try, and I will try to meet her. THANKS.
