Bottom Line

Contributed by LovingWhispers on Wednesday, 17th September 2003 @ 09:45:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Don't let my tears distract you, drown the hurt I filled you with
Please don't file away your feelings, always wondering, what if
Open up and release the anger, express to me the pain I caused
Don't let it eat away at you, then break down behind closed doors

The best that I can say right now,is that an apology seems lame
And in your eyes I fear inside,to you,I'll never look the same
I know you're all forgiving, understanding and lovingly prepared
To not throw away the memories, dreams and love we've shared

Yet somewhere deep inside me,I have changed and cannot find
Any reason to believe, that I truly deserve to hold you as mine
I'm searching through my feelings,such a nightmare,though awake
This lifetime could never be enough, to ever forget my mistake

I will make no promises to you,for my faith in myself has died
But I can't say I've failed to give it a go,at least until I've tried
Destiny will play its part, all I can do is find some kind of flow
And of all that haunts and confuses me,there's still one thing I know....

~ I Love You~

You love him, he loves you too
You've made mistakes and weren't true
If he still want to be with you
Why are you then feeling so blue?

If he can see it in your eyes
That's an apology from the skies
If he wants to forgive you still
You shouldn't try to pay a bill.

Keep love simple, you've only one life
I'll hope you'll finally get out, out of this strife.
