I put you to the middle of the flowering garden
on your lap lay table napkin
on the napkin ice-cream sundae
lil angel sits close to thee
I tell the sun to shine softly
ask the birds to sing for you lovely
cancel all the time limits
so it is up to you when you finish
and I wait for a short while
till I see your wonderful smile
then I leave and for the next time
conjure a new surprise hidden in rhyme:-)
