My world is just despair since you came into my life,
I guess the first month was bliss but now all we do is strife,
It’s so hard for me to be with you,
When I know that your heart isn’t true,
All we do is fight,
When you come home late at night,
Bruised and battered I wait for the sun to rise,
We sit to breakfast and soon come to a compromise,
But come Friday night the cycle starts all over again,
Flogged and wounded my heartache pains,
I cannot take it anymore I have got to bring this to an end,
You’ve hurt me so much that I don’t even want to be your friend,
So I’ll just leave you a letter with the diamond ring,
And erase what the future for us was about to bring

if yer being abused you need to get out... simple as that. I loved the line that started flogged and wounded. Best of luck.

Oh My! Abusive relationships, just pains me. I have been there myself but it was a friend who was abusing me, I have just written a poem about it now. I will post it later. I hope that the abusive person doesn't hurt you anymore once you've left. All the best. Peace.
