giggle giggle here
tickle tickle there
towel slapped rear
soggy little bear
night time rituals
bath time fun
laughter's residual
bedtime's overrun
one more story
another water drink
make it gory
under covers sink
whisper it softly
shush the boy
air so lofty
put away toys
Mama warned me
of little boys
up the trees
of their joys
his anger galore
the tension high
way past four
still waist high
impish little grin
guilty every time
where he's been
what'll I find
torment to carry
burden became light
told of faeries
visited at night
gift of love
keeper of peace
well thought of
carefree ease
brand new spirit
one very old
brightens near it
so I'm told
channeled energy
new day born
best synergy for
a Mama forlorn
constant reminder
of loss' win
couldn't be kinder
when someone sins
baby of three
just like one
ropes the tree
dresses for fun
little worry wart
is Mama okay
out of sorts
save the day
my little man
love him so
by me stands
off he goes.

oh Jaymee how I enjoyed that write.
I raised one just like that!
Off to town one day on his little tricycle...
I was an older mother of 43....contantly worried and find him up a tree.
Boys are so great, I live with this one still....
And from day to day...I still don't know his will.
But he knows mine all right, he knows how to get my heart softened so the love will fill!
Such a wonderful poem, Jaymee I hope you are saving them for your kids.....they will just love to listen and read about their antics galore.
Twil be worth more than any toy from any store!
Love you,
lovingcritters |
