Love at Last

Contributed by Kimmie_mac on Tuesday, 16th September 2003 @ 07:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

As I sit and watch you sleep,
I can feel my love running deep.
I always thought I would end up alone,
True love never to be known.
Then one day I saw you there,
A smile on your face from ear to ear.
I knew that we just had to meet,
When I saw you my heart kept skipping beats.
From across the room you would watch me,
Making me weak in the knees.
You made me open my heart to you,
Something I thought I would never again do.
You’ve brought me faith and happiness,
With your words of love and sweet caress.
You made me see that we belong,
That you and I just can’t go wrong.
