I ache for you,
Did you know that?
I have a thirst WAY
Down deep inside
That begs to know you once again.
It’s almost like my heart
Is refusing to wake up
From the most glorious dream
Only to have it turn into the worst nightmare.
Because no matter how many
Times I struggle to open
Up my eyes,
I can’t or I won’t…
Because to open up my eyes would be to lose a vital piece of myself…
