gratefullness to the lord

When days are bleak and seemingly blue
in You i find a love ever true
Let not tomorrow be like today
hopelessly forsaken in its own special way

In joy and happiness you bring
unto all of us a blessed thing
A peace everlasting and so fervently true
to be given to all if we call upon You

I call your name in fear and fright
askng for help in the dead of night
and You say, " My son, wherein did you doubt?"
"Thought you not I would see you out?"

"Of this paralyzing fear
know My son I am forever here
By your side through thick and thin
to see you through until the end."

Thank You dear Lord for all you have gave
eternal salvation with belief in Your name
Now in truth i steadfastly stand
awaiting the moment that we may join hands.....

I enjoyed your poem very much. Especially the part at the end. I too find great joy in writing about the grace and love of god.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time.
