Poet to a pen

Oh that I had a
Poet's soul
A voice I would
Become for those
Who's hearts bound
In numb silence
To give them life...
With but one
Scrawled word
Let not a drop
Of ink in vain
Be spilled
Nor jot be
In error made
Till pen run dry
On age stained page
And they be set free
And if one feeble
word speaks
Volumes then
Let my heart
A whole library be...
For all those
Mute souls
Eternally.

A voice for those by silence cursed, you have become, my friend.
A voice for them by silence bound, their message for to send.
You're great. A poet's soul you have.
