Which way out?

Contributed by lostforgood on Sunday, 14th September 2003 @ 10:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Sitting in my little room
It is my lonely little tomb
There's 2 doors out of this world
One to the kitchen to pick out a knife
The other to the bathroom to swallow more pills
I suppose I could stay here in my box
And make myself become more lost
Three choices is all I have
I have to wonder which choice I'd choose
Even though I know no matter what
Death will give its kiss to me soon

well perhaps we are kindred spirits in our deep and abiding sadness - i just wrote a suicide poem myself - sucks to feel this way doesn't it. I don't ususally give in to it - but then every once in while life jumps up and blindsides you a good one up side the head and sends you reeling to the floor - that's the day I had - on top of the past couple of weeks being very emotionally difficult.
I like your poem fits my mood so perfectly tonight - hope you are feeling better

not so
merry
