Death, you picked a
fine time to mess with me....
I felt your dagger pierce
through my hard-shelled heart....
Your dagger, that burns internally,
slowly slashes up my throat....
You tried to kill me
by suffication and nearly succeeded....
I just want to tell you
that I'm not ready to go yet....
I know that usually
I would have no say in this....
But I may have just found
my reason to live on....
I have many missions to complete
before I leave this world....
(My mind went blank and I passed out before I could finish this)

Great poem. Death is seemingly always one step behind us. Take care of yourself. Peace be with you. Great poem! |
