On life's inclusive scroll of merits seen,
stands few above a true commitment made.
Affairs have shown enduring goals do lean
upon firm resolutions deeply laid.
With solemn oath man's troth can't be charade,
supporting leaders, mind must be resolved.
Cause taken means devotion dare not fade,
and given promise may not be dissolved.
Until death severs union, we can't be absolved.
