A Letter to mom.....

Contributed by LOWMAN613 on Thursday, 11th September 2003 @ 08:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Mom I know you probably already know,
But I just have to tell you,
for I feel youre looking down below,
beneath the clouds passing through,
I'm pregnant with my third,
An Oma again you'd be,
I don't know if you have heard,
I just wish you could see,
Without you in my babys life,
Is getting a little tough to bare,
but I'm taking it in strife,
Others dont think I care,
I'm hiding it well,they can't see,
but my tears will soon shine through,
not having you hear for my baby or me,
Is hurting me, thats true,
Its just dont feel its really fare,
the other kids had you around,
for this baby will never share,
your touches or your sound,
I promise you Mom,I wont forget,
to let this baby know,
That their Oma,they never met,
but shes looking down below,
You will never be forgotten here,
I'll let this baby know you,
telling them their Oma is near,
your teachings will be sent through,
I'll let the baby see you on the Videos,
and know you like you were here,
so this baby too will some day know,
why mommy sheads those tears!

Christina my eyes are crying this is so precious and adorable.Your mom is with you in spirit and watches over you each day and she will watch over and love this new baby as well. She lives on in your heart. I wish there was something I could do to ease this emptiness for you dear friend.
Hugs and love to all of you
Michelle

Aw Chrissy- This made me cry, I am so sorry, that mom was here for our kids. She may not hold the child, but Im sure some part of that child will be mom. I know I cant be the child's oma, but i will be there for you and baby(Kevin), what a great name for a boy....for I chose it as my sons name, after our street.
Sending you all my hugs and watch for those pennies on the floor, for it is from mom.
love ya always, Monika

Mmmmf. Now you've done it again. Made me all fuzzy and warm inside again.

2 Questions: Is "Oma" Hungarian or German? and wha of your mother-in-law?
