I wonder at times why i even try
it seems that I can't figure out even why
Some days seem endless
and sometimes I feel it's hopeless

A bad attitude brings out the worst
and it is possible that you can feel lost
I feel lost in times of despair
yet i know that Christ is always there

I know all I need to do is ask
then all will be given to the last
Yet finding the strength to pray?
I feel it very hard to do some days

So now I ask dear Lord please help
so that I can leave this living hell
Give me strength to overcome myself
so that i may say that all is well

Thank you dear Lord
for the giving of Your Word
now i feel the strength of Your love
and I know I’m blessed by your presence above....
