gods nation

Topic: ChristianPoetry

I have seen men live in ways totally foreign to God
never knowing that what they do is not forgot
Never seeing that they have no future in celestial glory
only living so they can watch another story

Why is it that they don't understand
that there is a way that's true in this land?
A way of which they can be free from worry
and eventually attain their own special glory

I see that they don't really take time to consider
that surely they were only put here to conquer
The dark adversaries evil plan
and to be here with Christ for the last stand

When they do realize the truth
they will eventually find a route
Which will lead them to a place
where the Word will sustain their faith

That straight narrow path that God created
put there for us so we can pave it
With the footsteps of the penitent
fulfilling the Word of the omnipotent

God's will shall overcome the worldly
and His everlasting Word shall give them glory
By sharing His love so they can be
with our holy Father and His commitment to thee

And Christ will rule the kingdoms of all
and we shall be there to see them stand tall
Loyally living by way of His revelation
finally being part of a truly great nation.....

You know not the truth. You don't know if there is a god or not. I personally believe there is none for many many reasons. Of course the average christian would think I was "mad at god" but no, that's not it. Christianity and religion in general is ruled out with me. I am spiritual but I find my own glory, not a churchs'. USA was not founded on christian principals as the forefathers of the nation weren't christians at all....they believed in freedom which includes freedom of religion. They did this because of one of the many reasons they moved from England was because they were being forced to be christian. America is not a "christian country", it should be a free land which includes freedom of religion and beliefs. It was well written even though I didn't agree with it. Keep up the good work. :)
