relief

It's a relief when I awake to this world
at least then I know I’m not somewhere worse
And I feel gratitude to God for His Word
knowing I have a chance for a better course

It makes too much sense to dispute logically
the reason of Gods existence in my life
There's no way I can refuse the responsibility
to have Him in my heart and have no strife

I believe it to be that I was with Him before
agreeing to live a life here for Him
Knowing I would have trials and fears galore
Continuously trying to live

There's no wonder in my heart of the majesty He reflects
and I find that His love will always abide
His glorious son Jesus Christ He protects
and gives tribute to His life

There's only one easy way to live
that’s on the broad road of hell
Yet His yoke is lighter and He gives
a straight narrow path to all who have fell

To me it's entirely impossible
that there could be any other God but He
and holding my heart hostage
one day with Him I’ll be....
