I look into the sky and see
a sight beyond description
Beautiful hues shallow and deep
a thing of pure definition
Clear and fuzzy yet splendidly defined
i see a sight of delicacy
Misty and damp it's portrait refined
a wondrous thing of plenty
Heaven sent and given to us
so that we may see it's glory
A half a halo is wondrous
a thing of truly offered bounty
May it be that I will never see
a sight as pleasing to the eye?
As that which is for all to see
a rainbow sitting high in the sky....

"its"
Dips into Walden a bit at the end, but does evoke the emotion of seeing one very well. |
