Healing Song In Sand Canyon

Skipping on thunder
Nymph-like
Specks of light
Draw me in
Caressing the purple flesh
Packed round about
Every wound and tear
Left behind
By letters sharpened
Too sudden to warn
Or sound the alarm.
Free of them
I bask and heal
In this canyon
of many sands.
