You take me to the 9th cloud when iam down,
having a little frown,
when my toast is a bit more brown,
you make me feel as though i have a crown.
You sing to me when i cry,
try very hard to make me smile,
you are there for me when I need
with a chocolate in hand to make things sweet.
I see myself happiest of the lot,
and very fortunate to have tied this friendship knot.
A knot that is very precious to me,
that people can rarely see.
This friendship is here to stay,
which i cherish in a big big way.
Loads of things i want to say,
but there are not enough words to sum it up in anyway.

| i really like what you have to say in this poem. i think that it is something that a lot of people don't say to their friends and sometimes it needs to be said. i would like to give you a small suggestion though.... stick to a rhyme scheme. you have a great piece but i noticed you break the pattern in the third verse. rhyming is difficult and i applaud you for tackling it.... beautiful work! |
