The magic of words

Contributed by Aika on Monday, 8th September 2003 @ 10:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

There is power and it is very strong
It can be used the right way or wrong
The power can badly hurt and offend
It can also help and happy people make
The power is used by mistake or by purpose
And must be used as carefully as swords
This power is huge, kind and dangerous
This power is called magic of Words
This magic can be written or told
Can be used by shy ones or just bold
I use this magic in a honest hope
In the case of troubles this sword
Changes in feather
So that it could hurt – no one and never.

Aika....that was a beautiful message indeed!
how well written, i could tell you were very serious and inspired with this one, putting your message across....never to hurt anyone. And the word is mightier than the soul, for it cuts clear to the marrow of the bone! So we all have to be very careful how we handle it. I really enjoyed your poem dear. Write some more,
Love, Conne

Great write. As a friend of ours here says, "Word is a flower of love and it is a fruit of experience. Give it with joy to others.Word is a sword. Use it carefully for the benefit of mankind".
