I loved you, I did, I swear
Seemed like you didn't believe me, like you didn't care
I could always tell you had a smile, from your voice
I was the one that left you, it was my choice.
When we we're together, I'd think of you everyday
But I'd feel the emptiness in me, because you live so far away
I admit I'm jealous, your going out with another guy
Yet you tell me that you love me, I still wonder why
I'm sorry I left, was something I had to do
I promise, I never meant to hurt you
There was never a stage, where I deserved you at all
I loved hearing your voice, I loved it when you call
I used to be able, to tell you how I feel
Now I doubt you'll listen, doubt that it's for real
I'll never forget you, you'll always been in my heart
But as time goes on, we'll drift further apart
If you want revenge on me, go ahead
Hate me, love me, wish I was dead
But there's only one way to get back at me
Live your life, be happy

Thats so sad. Long distance relationships are the ones you wanna work on so much but they always fall apart, dont they? I like how you ended this poem...you truely care seeing as you just want her to be happy. She's lucky to have had you for whatever period of time she did...
