I
Spring breeze comes through the air
and the sun
warms her
as she flies across the bay.
Quickly she circles
like an eagle spotting dinner
she dives
flying by with outstreached wings
getting caught
in your hair.
II
Water dances
in the warm night's
lights
from the surrounding buildings
ripple
on the placid waves
below
as the fish sleep
and the boats rock
to the music
of Poseidan
as he plays
upon his seafaring pipe.
III
Water
rushes upon the rocks
in angry temprament
but
in jest is her game
dancing
upon the smooth surface
she rises
and SPLASH
with such intensity
it can be felt
by anyone near.
IV
The sight of you
makes me tingle
with delight
and you wrap your arms
around me
squeezing me
close
to you.

AppleScruffs,
I loved the setting of the poem. It took me on a one minute vacation when I read it, the way you could see everything through your words. Great poem, and I'd definitely like to hear more.
Peace easy,

Welcome to YPDC, Apple... I enjoyed these very much. I live near the ocean and it's the most peaceful place one can be....as your poems indicate....
