Blue eyes,
stare into a broken heart,
trying to wash away the pain.
Soft arms,
hold the shivering body,
protecting it from sadness.
Uncertain hands,
brush a silky strand,
away from streaming eyes.
She whimpers,
as if the hurt would never heal.
She cries,
as if he were not there to hold her.
She sobs,
as if he did not love her,
as she herself had loved another.
Brown eyes,
stare into guarded secrets,
knowing what they keep.
Soft arms,
hold the one she truly loves,
thanking him for staying,
while others have left her alone.
Uncertain hands,
brush trembling lips,
silently asking the question.
She smiles,
as if her suffering has left her.
She giggles,
as if she would never leave his arms.
She laughs,
as if she loved him the way she herself had loved another.
Tender lips,
meet for the first time,
as best friends fall in love

Oh wow....that was amazing...it gave me a vivid mental picture and I felt like I was the girl...this is an incredible poem! I couldn't tear my eyes away.
