Hey world remember me??
I'm still alive, Yehaw, Yipee....
I've crawled back from the dead,
Who would've thunk,
I could ever leave my deathbed
I should be happy right??
Life is sweet and light,
Well, I havn't got that kind of might.
One full year,
Hooked up to machines,
Not knowing what day it was,
What's my name??
Dangit!
My memory is worse than Grammas.......
THEY say I was lucky,
If I was I'd be dead,
If I was I would have had a choice.
I say kiss my TUSH,
What's here for me,
What's left to rejoice??
Just be satisfied,
Sit back, enjoy the ride,
I CAN'T, I just want to hide!!
This must be a mistake.
It's not possible,
Please tell me im not awake.

this is a totally excellent write, you lose a year of your life, you fel like crap, you are still recovering but people expect you to feel lucky, put them in hospital for a year and see how lucky they feel, well written, keep it goin',

| luck is in the eye of the beholder....i welcome you back.....i won't pretend to imagine what it was like.....but i know what it's like to feel helpless .....have no control....watch someone you love spend their whole life in and out...may you find the peace you desire....and i look forward to more of your work!!! |
