Secret

Contributed by crow on Thursday, 4th September 2003 @ 05:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I stand in the line that seperate
light and dark, on a lonely stretch of road.

Close my eyes,
as souls rush-by.

Pray you only see
half of me.

There within the beast lies,
that feeds on fear, anger, and doubt.

Fear to tell your secret,
quell the essence of death.

An easy fall, on a lonely road,
standing at the line......Crow

Oh Crow, what a wonderful way of saying and feeling where I've been so many times before...Too close, and then maybe too far away....happy medium...but who's to tell? Your words take me where my heart is a well....filling, filling, filling still!
Wonderful poem Crow...it's hard to find your way!

The line between light and dark is always an
edgy road to be on. And only is our secret within that holds us. May we all be joined in the lighter side of the road. :-)
I liked this one alot!!!!!
Angel always...godspeed...joni

What a difficult position to be in. Seeing what your heart will not allow you to feel. It is never an easy thing.

this is stark and conveys a sense of dark and ominous things - we recently had a terrible hit and run accident in our town and a 17 year old boy was killed - your poem reminds me of the tragedy
