Don't come any closer...
Stop right there -
Reveal only my shadows
And ceal away me exterior
Don't seek my truth
Stop the search now -
Believe the lies I feed you
And fall into my fiction
Don't push my limits
Stop the criticism -
Fear the pain I inflict
And know its I who suffer
Don't try to understand
Stop before you begin
Put yourself first
And overcome your own demons
Don't attempt the impossible
Stop playing the hero -
Let fate take its toll
And leave me to die...

I liked the bitterness in this. great poem. I liked the last line leaves the reader hanging.
