Black

Contributed by Saira on Thursday, 4th September 2003 @ 12:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I am lucky
But feel luckless,
I am blessed
But ungrateful,
Happiness all around me
But blind to see,
Vibrant colors stand before me
But all I see is black,
A certain shade of black.

My dear friend, Saira,
it's the irony of it all my dear friend.
When looking out from within...
Colors many hues, some thick, some thin...
Green for life, Black for death....where does it all end!

I love your poetry Siara...takes me places I've never been.
Wonderful....I'm so glad I can read your poems again!
Connie

Dark... and yet so meaning full... I think someone has already said this and I totally agree... "So few words, so many meanings" Sorry for not being able to use my own words (I'm speachless) but I felt those words did it justice... Great Job.
