I sit here and can only think of one thing,
But I really wish I wouldn't.
I hear the songs that we used to sing,
I can't cry anymore, I guess I shouldn't.
It wasn't that I couldn't cope,
But it was more than I could bare.
I didn't have any hope,
And not one person to care.
Everyone said we would never be apart,
But they didn't see the hurt in my eyes.
An alarm should have gone off right from the start,
But still a part of me dies.
