You're eyes held the pain, you're heart broken,
You were standing quietly shaking,
Those hurtful words spoken,
All along she was faking.
You turned and left this place,
You hardly let anyone see you,
You needed a lot of breathing space,
No one understood what you went through.
You lost your friends because they didn't care,
You sunk deeper in your pain,
Everyone was not unaware,
That your heart they had slain.
They knew exactly what they were doing,
And they made it very clear,
To you they meant everything,
That's why your hurt was so sereve.
7 months later your pain is still deep,
But you've got on with your life.
It's a shame that you're still losing sleep,
That you're still getting over your strife.
You've been so brave, that's for sure,
Even if the pain is still in your eyes,
You're heart you're trying to restore,
Before it totally dies.
