The Teacher

Contributed by jaeann on Wednesday, 3rd September 2003 @ 11:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

I try to find the words
to convey everything that I feel
but they never come out right
on how to portray you a heel.

All the little things you said
that made me cringe just so
or the hands-on games you liked to play
and some others just as low.

You started me off at age of ten
then finished when you were done
warped...violated and mangled me
and had your little fun.

You used me then discarded me
like yesterday's back page news
I could never understand the reasons
why I never got to choose.

A little girl you made a woman
in all your sadistic ways
you molded her and nurtured her
and said this was all okay.

You showed me things that shocked me so
they still pop up more than now and then
like how the woman pleases the man
you showed me with my barbie and ken.

I'd rattle off all the hated times
I'd rather die than breathe
but it's more than the memories
that I cling to and cleave.

You knew what you were doing
the smart one of the lot
my sanity on edge... the past came loose
all my morals have been bought.

You burned yourself into my brain
what with your aliens and moody blues
don't know what you had over me
but i wonder who's been walking in my shoes.

I know I was never the last
I'd like to think I was the first
how else could you have perfected
this little girls psychotic thirst.

oh...the emotion this evokes...rage, sorrow, disbelief, helplessness...
i've never understood how someone could hurt a child this way (or any way).
this poem was difficult to read, but i think it should be read. i'm sure it was difficult to write (and i hope it helps rid you of a demon). painted_echos

Wonderful poem. Noone should ever have to go through that pain. This kind of beauty should never come from that kind of pain. Tears run down my face for you. These kinds of scars should never be worn on a beautiful soul like your's. Peace always be with you. I truly love your poems.

you write in depth that chills me, and I wish you did not know how to write this, or bear these thoughts, damn them for you.
I read it all, Crow

Oh dear Jayme, I just want to take you in my arms and hold you tight. Why must some go through what we do? And others never see a bad thing done? Are we stronger? Do we have more fun? All questions that will never be answered or ever be done! But because you have suffered....there is good that will come. Your poems reflect what others could never hope to reach,Jaymee You have to experience before you can teach.
And you my dear are such a wonderful poet....the words you chose and the way you place them with perfect timing, on top of rhyming. You have a gift....perhaps because..
I love you,
lovingcritters
Connie Sue
