Where are you now?

Topic: SongLyrics

now, i was ready to make a commitment where was your trust,
that he say she say stuff it made ya bust,
i never tried to hit girl i was never in a rush,
everything was fitting perfect like a royal flush,
damn, you made my heart melt with one sensual touch,
too little too late,
too much for us,
my relationship was too mature you still wanted to be a kid,
hesitations in conversations debatin over the life that i live,
reasonable answers and dances fighting over our stupid trips,
then you got your friends wanting to be hitting me like they men,
our relationship was famous the rain missed and we played in sin,
correctin me and checkin me when i said i was a pimp,
damn girl to be honest without you i aint shhh. ..

(chorus "girl, were you there when i cried right in your arms,
were you there after you found out what i was bout,
were you there when other guys tried the charm,
then tell me where are you now? x2)

insinuatin my love,
a telepathetic shove girl,
why we broke up,
we fit just like a glove,
im still in a position where i need a hug,
you never turned me down so tell me where are you now,
is it that i tried to hard trying to please you that i stayed at work all day and you just seemed to slip through my grasp one day,
i dont play girl i love you,
thats the truth im only speakin my mind,
my lyrics were always there but you were always mine,
i turned down a record deal a contract with the best,
just so i can go to sleep with your arm across my chest,
your the best im not gonna blame you for anything,
and till this day girl you remain up in my dreams,
im sorry i couldnt tell you i loved you i didnt know what it means.. .

(chorus x2)

my attraction was more then action i had to get up on my own,
walked up and asked you questions then can i have the number to your phone and,
if you wanna talk im ready for something to change yeah,
im in a position where wishin just aint my thang hey,
im ready to work and start a family if you want,
like pharrel when i first met you i was putting up a front,
when you would walk down past my desk you had to flaunt,
the way that you smile at me was like a taunt,
like tellin me that i couldnt touch your body,
but i got up you see,
and now you touchin this other guy after you touchin me,
i get down on my knees,
girl i beg and plead that,
you will beleive,
when i say trust in me,
i want love,
all i need is a chance girl i allready know how,
just let me know where are you now????.. .

(chorus x3 till fade out to talk)

dedicated to my ex-girl i tried im sorry it turned out like it did you listened to your friends and never thought to ask me maybe if you did we still might be . . .you know my number im here call me if you want to talk bout it if not. .. . we can keep walking the other way and pretend that its okay when its not.. . this all stops . .. im still in love.. .
