Dreams

What resides within your dreams?
What makes you believe?
Who do you believe in?
The dreams that reside in you
How do you see your future?
What makes you believe in you?
Is it your Mom? Your Dad?
Is it what you see for yourself?
Your Future? You’re future children?
The one you love…
Without your hopes you’re nothing
What do you dream that you’ll be?
A lawyer? A Doctor? A Professional Wrestler?
What do you want to be child?
What do you want to do with your future?
What do you want to be, what did you want?
Child of Mine who will you be?
Soon you’ll no longer be the one within
Living from your mother’s vitality
Soon you’ll be out on your own
Being the hero that you wanted to be
A firefighter; a policeman; an airline pilot.
Who knows what you’ll be?
Your future is open; your dreams still to be built
Who will you be love?
You sill have so much to build
So much for you to dream
What will you be?
A paramedic; a pediatrician; a scientist
Dream my child. Never let anyone being you down
You’ve got your whole life to dream
What do you dream of now?
Do you see the world as you hope it’ll be?
It’s tough out here little Ian
Soon you’ll see the world and know how we love you
You’re here to teach the world
Show them what real love is
Show them all your dreams
Never be afraid to dream
Don’t let them bring you down
Never accept another crown
Your future is yours Ian
Dream all you can, never stop dancing love
Be all that you can
Your dreams are yours, Hun
Never be afraid to step up and be a man
Accept those from other lands
Your life is within your hands
Dream my little Ian dream
Sing for the world; sing for your life
Never take the world upon your shoulders
Be what you want to be, dream all that you can
Your love, Your life, your dreams, your future
All you want to be is in your hands
Just dream little man
Our hearts are in your hands.

Great poem. I like the lines: " Just dream little man
Our hearts are in your hands."
