He Was a Fleeting Dream

Body enclosed in heavy warmth,
Groggy eyelids start to float.
Traces of dreams now flee.
A lazy arm goes to the side,
Its object was a dream.
A lonely tear rolls down a cheek,
The bottom lip protrudes.
“Wish he was here”
Runs through her head,
“As my husband,
Right here in this bed.”
