The gamut of emotion,
Salutes the salient;
Stand aside weary lover,
The Saint has bigger plans!
Inflate the perverse,
The fiction of self worth;
Procure this sad gift,
The Voice has stronger hands.
Like the addict's needle,
Innocence turns fatal;
One draw of ambition,
Good intentions fall apart.
The Saint is a banner,
Of man-made manner;
Reverse the mandate,
So all dreams can start.

Jason, keep on writing. You come from a different situation than I do, so I have difficulty understanding how the words relate to an experience. That doesn't mean that your poetry is not good, I'm sure it is.
Praying for good things in your life. Bizzy |
