The Storm

Through my window
I can see the storm
on its way...
Mother Nature angered
is sending her rage
this day.
Soft, white clouds
rapidly churning
to black...
Howling thunder
upon the wind
takes me a step back.
Hypnotic lightning
sent down from Zeus
is so fierce...
Through anything I feel
these massive bolts
could pierce.
Wind screaming
with insanity and
slashing about...
Bends the strongest
of trees once
stately and stout.
Quickly I brace myself
for what is yet
to come...
The mounting fear
within is truly
worrisome....
For this is the storm.

Gives a frantic sence of uneasiness. It feels like something any reader has experienced. It captures that emptiness that leads us to creativity. Some of the worst experiences lead to some an artists greatest works.
Bravo,
