You're my anchor, my friend, what I know is true,
From the dark I'd never made it, if not for you.
Now to another, I must let you flee,
Because you showed compassion to me.
It hurts so much to give you away,
But I know I must, so you can be safe.
Leave me now, my Ginny dear,
Turn away before my eyes begin to tear,
Oh my Gin, I truly wish you well,
My friend forever, my saviour from Hell.
