Lay down my heart
Breathe into it flames of distrust
Cut open my heart
Pour from it all the love I never obtained
Burn my heart
Smoke out every ray of hope
Cloud my heart
With self-hatred’s inflictions
Scratch into my hear
Bleed out my emotions
Tear my heart in two
See within, the emptiness inside
Sew up my heart with loose thread
And stamp upon it – it’s only my heart
