You’re the one
Who’ve made me believe in myself
You gave me wings
When I thought I was falling
You made me realize the truth
When I wanted proofs
You’re the one
Who’ve brought me to a new world
A world I never knew of
I now wonder how I’ve lived so far
Without it in my life
A place that I now deem
A part of my life
You’re the one
Who can make me smile
When I feel like crying
You can make my headaches and miseries
Vanish in mere matter of seconds
You’re the one
Who gave me hope
When I considered giving up
You showed me my way
Putting at stake your own
You’re the one
Who makes me laugh and cry
The only one
To whom I can hide nothing
For you can read me
As though I’m an open book
You’re the one
Who showed me
A part of me
I never knew was there
You’re the one
Who gave me inspiration
And made poetry
Another part of my life

| this poem is great, I've had a few people in my life who've "Shown me the Light" just as this poem is about. definately great |
