drip, drip, drip
the sadness of my smile
to avoid complications
i'll forget about you for a while

drip, drip, drip
the warmth of your arms
ill start dreaming of someone else
to keep myself from harm

drip, drip, drip
the hunger from my soul
only you can ease the pangs
and once again make me whole

drip, drip, drip
your eyes are forever embedded,
searing holes within me
forever my trust is scalded
